We are hiring a Cash Vault Supervisor for our Cash Services division in Toronto, ON.

Your Mission

Reporting to the CVS Manager, you will be in charge of the Cash Processing team.  On a daily basis, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the work of your teams and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Managing the department’s resources and work processes cost effectively and efficiently
  • Ensuring that the contractual obligations of customers are achieved
  • Monitor and improve the department's profitability and security continually
  • Maintaining accountability for the performance of the department
  • Carrying on-the-job induction training
  • Ensuring all positions are staffed and executed properly and on time
  • Promoting the Health and Safety of Branch Personnel
  • Monitoring service levels, taking corrective action where necessary
  • Managing staff to maintain the highest level of operational efficiency
  • Ensuring Company procedures, standards, and security guidelines are abided by
  • Briefing departmental staff on operational and company matters

What we’re looking for 

  • Experience managing unionized staff
  • Experience with cash handling and processing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and ability to abide by operational and security policies and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and make decisions
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work activities
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the cash services industry is a definite asset
