About the Opportunity

DMI, LLCis seeking a PeopleSoft FSCM/Procurement Leadwho supports Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Timekeeping Management, and other related operations. These roles will be temporary contract positions to support daily operations during the lifecycle of a major ERP System upgrade initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze business processes and requirements related to financial management, accounting, procurement, and other finance‑related functions.
  • Subject matter expertise on PeopleSoft FSCM – specifically e‑procurement, Strategic Sourcing (SS), and Supplier Contract Management (SCM) modules on PeopleSoft version 9.1. Configure and support PeopleSoft Contract Life Cycle Management integrated systems, internal and external.
  • Support external supplier portal configuration and integrations to align with business requirements. This includes support of the complete P2P process for day‑to‑day operations.
  • Work with Program Manager and Procurement Manager, and perform the day‑to‑day functions of coordinating functional infrastructure discussions and functional solutions. Design, develop, and maintain SCM documents within PeopleSoft.
  • Develop and modify PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and other PeopleSoft development tools.
  • Support integration of PeopleSoft Financials modules with other third‑party applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Provide technical and functional support to end‑users and resolve issues related to PeopleSoft Financials applications.
  • Responsibilities to include guidance and support to procurement initiatives, including SBPO, document management, analysis and assessment, communication and collaboration, and policy compliance.
  • Support PeopleTools Project.
  • The CLM Functional/SME Lead will be responsible for providing guidance and support in specialized functional expertise to support the certification application, review, and approval process for procurement initiatives, including SBPO (small businesses), seeking analysis and assessment, communication and collaboration, and policy compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the PeopleSoft Finance applications.
  • Assist in data migration and conversion.
  • Assist with reconciliations, month‑end, and year‑end close as needed.
  • Support financial audit requirements.
  • Conduct peer reviews and manage change management.
  • Troubleshoot functional or business process issues related to applications and systems.
  • Translate relevant application/system configuration to respective users, IT staff, and IT management.
  • Configure or reconfigure in‑house tools for administration purposes or to support business processes.
  • Develop complex queries for reporting purposes.
  • Create functional design diagrams and present proposed solutions in the form of design reviews.
  • Work with other functional analysts and developers to determine the best technical approach, learn new functionality and features of in‑house tools as new versions are released, and educate the user community.
  • Prepare requirements documents and report mockups.
  • Develop training materials.
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years of additional applicable experience.
  • Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • PeopleSoft certified.
  • Experience working with third‑party systems.
  • Experience in cloud‑based PeopleSoft deployments.

Additional Requirements:

  • 8+ years of functional experience related to financial management, accounting, procurement, and other finance‑related functions.
  • Configure PeopleSoft Financials modules to align with business requirements. This includes setting up chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, cash management, and other finance‑related configurations.
  • Expertise on functionality of Contract Life Cycle Management and integration with inventory systems.
  • Support other major initiatives like ERP Modernization Project.
  • Develop and modify PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and other PeopleSoft development tools.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Functional experience with e‑business software products such as PeopleSoft, including product configuration, requirements gathering, and developing training materials.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Informix, and DB2.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • PeopleSoft certified.
  • Experience in working with third‑party systems.
