Job description

Job Description Job Title: Liquidity Management Analyst Location: New York, NY Duration: Through December 31, 2026 Pay Rate: $33/HR (W2 Only) Job/Role Description: This role supports Liquidity Management within Asset Management Operations and is responsible for various aspects of cash management, collateral management, post-trade oversight, and trade lifecycle support. Serve as a key point of contact for liquidity-related operational inquiries across investment portfolios. Maintain holistic ownership and understanding of client accounts from an operations perspective, including trade lifecycle activities and liquidity-related issues.

Perform daily cash forecasting across multi-currency portfolios, including overdraft monitoring and fund liquidity reporting. Provide support to trading desks for ad-hoc inquiries and ongoing business initiatives. Manage collateral and counterparty exposures across multiple product classes and regulatory environments.

Build and maintain relationships with external financial institutions, including brokers, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators. Liaise with traders and brokers to help ensure efficient settlement of trading activity. Partner with client relationship and implementation teams to support new business, account events, account structures, and operational processes.

Support strategic risk reduction, operational efficiency, and business enablement initiatives. Proactively identify and investigate potential operational issues with the goal of resolving concerns before they impact clients. Review account-level operational metrics, including cash and position reconciliation exceptions and failing trades.

Research, escalate, and remediate operational exceptions as appropriate. Provide accurate and timely liquidity information to portfolio managers and client relationship teams. Support operational and counterparty risk oversight across portfolios covering products such as equities, fixed income, currencies, and derivatives.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 2-4 years of professional experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functional groups Highly collaborative and team-oriented with the ability to build consensus Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-gathering skills Ability to identify operational issues and provide practical solutions Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in Operations and/or the Financial Services industry Experience with Asset Management or Investment Operations Knowledge of collateral management and/or Treasury Operations Experience with cash management, cash forecasting, or liquidity management Experience with trade lifecycle and settlement processes Experience with cash and position reconciliations Familiarity with equities, fixed income, currencies, and/or derivatives Experience working with brokers, custodians, prime brokers, or fund administrators Ability to partner effectively across product groups, regions, and functional responsibilities Strong strategic thinking and facilitation skills Risk management and operational controls experience
