What is a cash in transit?

Cash In Transit jobs involve safely transporting cash and other valuables between locations such as banks, ATMs, retail stores, and cash processing centers. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a cash in transit officer?

To thrive as a Cash In Transit Officer, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid security license, and a clean criminal record. Familiarity with armored vehicles, secure cash handling procedures, and surveillance or tracking systems is important. Attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and excellent communication skills set top performers apart in this role.
