Job description

Department:Rooms
Position: Dock Hand
Reports to: Dock Master
Position Overview: Dock Hand works to ensure the safe docking of all vessels at The Pridwin's dual docks, provides excellent beach service to guests, and assists guests with water sports programming.
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
[Beach]
  • Greet and welcome guests, providing chair and towel service at the beach.
  • Provide service to beach guests by executing the standards of service set by the hotel.
  • Keepa clean beach.
  • Responsible for setting up and shutting down the beach chairs, umbrellas, and tables every shift.
  • Maintain a supply of fresh towels throughout the shift and remove all dirty towelstolaundry as needed.

[Boat]
  • Assisting the Dock Master with the arrival and departure of vessels from the docks andmoorings.
  • Capture all dock and beach transactions through Aloha PMS system, ensuring all checks are properly signed for.
  • Assistin collecting touch-and-go fees from boat guests, following cash handling procedures.

[Dock]
  • Assistingguests with the use of complimentary watersports off the docks.
  • Properly securing all water sports and safely storing all equipment.
  • Assistingguests in fishing off the dock.
  • Promptly check on dock safety through shift.
  • Fill dock coolers daily with ice and water - refresh as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
