ย The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing both front and back-of-house operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional dispensary experience. They support and guide the team, ensuring all operational needs are met while stepping in as needed to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction.ย
Lead and manage the dispensary staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and support for patients/customers.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, addressing all inquiries, feedback, and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
Quickly resolve any in-store situations, demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills.
Create and manage bi-weekly schedules for dispensary staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
Act as a resource and coach for dispensary staff, providing guidance and support on industry news, product knowledge, and regulatory changes.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to dispensary staff, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Collaborate with the General Manager to communicate information from the corporate retail team to dispensary staff.
Act as the primary backup for the General Manager, managing all transactions and cash within the dispensary, including preparing bank deposits, counting drawers and safe, making change for register coin safes, requesting coinage for vault, and performing record-keeping duties related to all cash.
Assist the General Manager in running the day-to-day operations efficiently as it relates to inventory and people management.
Interview potential candidates for dispensary staff positions, as directed by the General Manager.
Train and develop dispensary staff on the POS System and State Inventory System.
Oversee orders and deliveries, ensuring accurate information and timely delivery.
Foster a positive company culture and atmosphere within the dispensary facility.
Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activity, including cash, sales, vendors, and customer/patient information.
Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- You're at least 21 years of age or older.
- Have successfully led a team of associates as a manager or assistant manager in a fast-paced retail or hospitality setting.ย
- You are an excellent communicator and even better listener.ย
