Job description

**This is a remote role**

Happy Returns is seeking a highly organized Marketing Manager to help grow and support our partner ecosystem. This role will lead key partner marketing initiatives including announcements, collateral, case studies, enablement materials, events, and partner-facing web experiences. The Marketing Manager will also support partner and retailer engagement through training sessions, customer visits, presentations, and events that communicate the value of Happy Returns.


This is a hands-on role for a marketer who can balance strategy and execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable building partner-facing content, supporting product launches, coordinating events, and ensuring partners have the tools, messaging, and training they need to succeed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in partner marketing, B2B marketing, channel marketing, sales enablement, business development, or related fields, preferably within logistics or ecommerce. They are a strong writer, effective communicator, and detail-oriented project manager who thrives in cross-functional environments spanning marketing, sales, partnerships, product, and operations.


What you'll do:

  • Lead partner marketing programs across announcements, product launches, enablement, case studies, collateral, events, and partner communications
  • Create and maintain partner-facing materials including one-pagers, presentations, sales resources, training content, case studies, and 3PL collateral
  • Manage end-to-end case study development, including interviews, drafting, approvals, and promotion
  • Plan and support partner events and experiences including industry events, partner dinners, hub tours, customer visits, and retailer meetings
  • Support partner and retailer conversations through presentations, enablement materials, tours, and customer-facing content that communicate the value of Happy Returns
  • Build and manage partner training and enablement programs, including educational resources, scripts, and ongoing content updates
  • Lead ongoing improvements to the partner website and ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and up to date
  • Identify creative opportunities and channels to communicate partner updates, insights, and initiatives

  • Effective writer and communicator who can create clear, polished materials for internal and external audiences
  • Strategic but hands-on marketer who is comfortable owning projects from planning through execution
  • Creative thinker who can identify better ways to communicate updates, learnings, and initiatives across different channels and formats
  • Strong project manager who can manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables at once
  • Collaborative partner to sales, partnerships, product, operations, and the broader marketing team
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift
  • Confident in creating partner collateral, case studies, presentations, training materials, web content, and event materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of non-internship marketing experience
  • Comfortable presenting information and facilitating conversations with partners, retailers, and external audiences in both virtual and in-person settings
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience creating marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, partner-facing resources, presentations, or web content
  • Experience managing cross-functional marketing projects from planning through execution
  • Ability to translate complex products, features, and initiatives into clear, compelling, easy-to-understand content
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, logistics, retail, SaaS, and/or supply chain
  • Proficiency with ChatGPT, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including partner meetings, events, retailer visits, hub tours, and conferences

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Asana, Squarespace, and HubSpot
  • Lives within driving distance of either Valencia, CA; Southaven, MS; or Shoemakersville, PA
