Position Summary

This position is ideal for an experienced personal injury Case Manager who is confident managing cases from intake through resolution, enjoys building strong relationships with clients, takes initiative by anticipating case needs, and has exceptional attention to detail.


The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, empathetic, and comfortable taking ownership of their caseload while working closely with attorneys and other members of the team. This person understands that exceptional case management is about more than checking boxes—it is about keeping cases moving, keeping clients informed, and helping position each case for the best possible outcome.


Compensation

$28 - $40 an hour base depending upon experience, plus bonus structure.

Responsibilities

·      Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution, with a primary focus on pre-litigation case management

·      Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide consistent, compassionate, and professional communication throughout the life of the case

·      Conduct client intake and gather information necessary to evaluate and develop the case

·      Obtain, organize, and review medical records, medical bills, insurance information, photographs, and other case-related documentation

·      Track insurance coverage, claim status, medical treatment, liens, and other important case details

·      Assist attorneys with case evaluation and development by preparing case summaries, chronologies, medical summaries, and other case-related materials

·      Assist with preparing settlement demands and supporting documentation

·      Maintain accurate and thorough case notes and documentation in the firm’s case management system

·      Manage case-related deadlines, follow-ups, appointments, and outstanding tasks to ensure cases continue moving forward

·      Follow up consistently with clients, providers, insurance representatives, and other parties to obtain outstanding information and resolve issues

·      Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure cases are handled efficiently and strategically

·      Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, insurance representatives, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other professionals

·      Identify potential issues or delays and proactively work to resolve them

 

Requirements

·      At least 2 years of personal injury case management experience strongly preferred

·      Fluent in Spanish is required

·      Strong client service, communication, and interpersonal skills

·      Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

·      Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities efficiently

·      Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members

·      Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

·      Ability to take initiative, anticipate case needs, and follow through without constant supervision

·      Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and general document management

·      Experience with a legal case management system preferred

·      Compassionate, professional, and solutions-oriented approach to client service

 

Location and Schedule

This position is full-time, in accordance with the firm’s hybrid work schedule, and will report to our home office in Irvine.
