Case Manager - Supervisor

Universal Health Services, Inc. company, in partnership with Greystone Foster Care, has a long history in providing comprehensive behavioral health care services to at-risk youth struggling with extensive mental health issues. Greystone Foster Care recruits foster parents and offers the training to be equipped to provide a safe, stable and therapeutic environment for children and youth that have been removed from their homes. Our training prepares staff and foster parents to support children and youth as they begin the healing process. Our therapeutic foster parents link children and youth to hope, healing and trust.

Greystone Foster Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate a Case Manager Supervisor to our growing team. This is a hybrid job blends remote work and in-office position with occasional requirements to report to the Brentwood, TN facility. The primary responsibilties of the Case Manager Supervisor are to coordinate and supervise the Regional Foster Care Program including the Regional Foster Care staff, parents and homes to fullfill the agency's mission. This role requires full-time dedication and must be flexible to include weekends and evening work.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sets standards and expectations for case management paperwork quality, accuracy and timeliness that meets program guidelines. Ensures that all contractual regulations requirements and all policies and procedures regarding foster care/In home services are being provided.  Familiarizes self with the portion of DCS Provider Manual that applies to foster care/In home services and complies with changes as they occur. Provide clinical consultation and reviews of admissions/referrals, as necessary. Communicate with Director of Greystone Foster Care Program regarding case assignments at intake.
  • Complete random chart audits to ensure quality documentation within the foster care program and to ensure all charts are audit ready. Monitor documentation for appropriate, objective, concise and legally defensible documentation.
  • Aids in scheduling of meetings between all involved parties, community programs, medical appointments to ensure quality care for clients. Facilitates scheduling of child and family team meetings when necessary for program planning.
  • Ensures weekly, monthly, and quarterly recordings are met and maintained. Review and sign monthly progress reports, IPP’s, and other required documentation of clinical services provided by Case Managers.
  • Visits each assigned child per policy or as needed.
  • Reports any non-compliance with regulatory agencies or policies and/or any suspicions of abuse or neglect to director or to proper authorities. Attends Court hearings as appropriate

  • Provide direct training for orientation to new Case Manager employees. Facilitate employee development plans. Completes required training sessions required inhouse and by outside agencies. Review and approve all outside training/conferences of Case Manager employees
  • Monitor client movement and prepare written reports of projected discharges on a weekly basis.
  • Review and approve all time off employee request forms. Provide individual and family therapy for designated caseload and/or during absence of Case Managers.
