Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
  • Perform unbiased product quality testing in assigned area.
  • Keep an accurate and legible record of all testing completed.
  • Ensure product safety and sanitary conditions are always maintained in the processing areas.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Knowledge of GMP's.
  • Prior experience in Quality Control.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within our company.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Have a good attendance history - 4 points or less.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
  • Be willing to be cross-trained and learn all tasks in the department.
  • Have the ability to perform basic mathematics.
  • Know how to effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
  • Extended shifts may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable.
  • May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
  • May be exposed to chemicals used in the processing facility.
  • Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the position as directed by Case Farms.
  • Able to stand or freely move for duration of shift.
  • When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
  • May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
  • Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through production environment.
  • Ability to work with tools, like scissors, knives and/or power tools for the duration of the shift.
