Cascade Link engineers often encounter challenges related to ensuring seamless interoperability between legacy systems and newly introduced network technologies. Staying updated with industry standards and participating in ongoing training can help engineers overcome these challenges and contribute to successful network deployments.

What is a Cascade Link?

A Cascade Link typically refers to a component or mechanism that connects multiple systems or devices in a sequential or 'cascading' manner, allowing information or signals to flow from one to another. In various industries, such as telecommunications or networking, a cascade link enables the linking of multiple units to extend range, increase capacity, or enable redundancy. In other contexts, it may refer to a process or series of related steps that depend on each other. The specific definition can vary depending on the field, so it is important to consider the industry or context in which the term is used.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Cascade Link professional, and why are they important?

To thrive in a Cascade Link role (commonly referring to a telecommunications network engineer or technician specializing in Cascade Link systems), you need a strong background in network engineering, fiber optics, and telecommunications protocols, often supported by relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+. Familiarity with network management tools, optical testing equipment, and configuration of Cascade Link hardware is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are vital soft skills for diagnosing issues and collaborating with teams. These competencies ensure reliable network performance, minimize downtime, and support seamless connectivity for organizational operations.

Job description

Practice Growth Specialist (Sales)

About Social Cascade

Social Cascade is a healthcare patient education platform that helps practices share trusted health content, automate posting, and stay connected with patients and caregivers between visits.

The company positions itself around modernized patient education, helping providers close the gap between office visits by delivering relevant education where patients are already searching. Social Cascade offers plans that range from individual practices to enterprise health systems, but this role is focused on serving healthcare practices and smaller provider groups today.

The Role

Social Cascade is hiring a smart, driven, early-career seller to help healthcare practices grow through patient communications. This is a full-cycle sales role with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting, conference attendance and follow-up, thoughtful discovery, and crisp demos.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, coachable, tech-savvy, and energized by the chance to learn directly from founders while building real selling skills in an early-stage environment. This is not a read the script and crank the handle role; it requires curiosity, discipline, good judgment, and the ability to develop credibility with practice owners, physicians, and practice managers.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting through close.
  • Build pipeline through cold outreach, email, social prospecting, conference activity, and disciplined follow-up.
  • Represent Social Cascade at conferences and events, with travel expected approximately two times per month.
  • Run concise, polished, consultative demos with healthcare decision-makers.
  • Position Social Cascade as a practical solution for patient education, patient engagement, and social media presence between visits.
  • Maintain clean activity, pipeline, and forecasting discipline in CRM.
  • Help refine messaging, talk tracks, target accounts, and process as the go-to-market motion continues to mature.
  • Support a modest renewals motion with existing customers as assigned (adding to your overall earning potential).

Who You Are

  • Early career, with roughly 03 years of experience in sales, customer-facing work, recruiting, business development, or another performance-oriented environment.
  • Competitive, resilient, and comfortable with repetitive outbound activity.
  • Strong communicator who can be crisp, articulate, and credible in front of physicians, owners, and practice managers.
  • Highly coachable and interested in developing real entrepreneurial and commercial skills.
  • Comfortable with software, CRMs, digital tools, and social media.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, healthcare, or startup environments is a plus.
  • A background in competitive environments (e.g., athletics, rigorous extracurriculars, or demanding performance-based roles) is a plus. We are looking for people who understand the value of consistency, drive, and daily repetition.

Location and Travel

This is a remote-first role based in the greater Raleigh-Durham area. Regular in-person collaboration is expected, along with conference and event travel approximately twice per month.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

  • Base salary: $40,000$60,000, based on experience.
  • On-target earnings (OTE): $70,000$90,000 at quota.
  • Uncapped variable compensation with quarterly accelerators for over-performance.
  • Equity: Opportunity to gain equity in a venture-backed startup.
  • Time Off: Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) to ensure you can recharge.
  • Travel: All conference travel, dining, and lodging expenses are fully covered.
  • Tech: Company-provided tech setup (laptop, monitors, etc.) so you have the tools you need to succeed.

Why This Role

This role offers direct founder access, fast development, and the chance to learn a repeatable healthcare SaaS sales motion from the ground up. It is designed for a high-upside, early-career candidate who wants real responsibility, strong coaching, and a clear path to growth. Because you are joining early, success in this role paves the way for progression into Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Sales, or Sales Leadership positions as the company scales.
