Location: Centre Hall, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | No Weekends

Pay Rate: $35–$40/hour

Pay Type: Hybrid Pay Structure

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and drivability repairs
  • Diagnose and repair electrical system concerns
  • Complete engine repairs and general automotive service
  • Perform vehicle inspections and identify repair recommendations
  • Service Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles
  • Utilize Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment
  • Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Tekmetric
  • Work closely with the service advisor, parts department, and shop manager to maintain an efficient workflow

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recent professional automotive technician experience
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, drivability, and engine repair skills
  • Pennsylvania Inspection and Emissions Licenses required
  • Ability to diagnose and repair Domestic, European, and Asian vehicles
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
  • Independent repair shop experience preferred
  • ASE Certifications preferred
  • Experience with Tekmetric or similar shop management software preferred
  • Experience using Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment preferred
