Come and join us!We are currently recruiting a Sales Center Associate at our BackYard Storage Lot location in Traveler's Rest, SC.Role SummaryWe are seeking an energetic, results-driven sales professional to manage customer sales and day-to-day operations at our BackYard Storage sales location. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role responsible for converting online and in-person leads into sales of new and used sheds, carports, HVAC systems, and related products.The ideal candidate brings prior sales experience, communicates with confidence and professionalism, and enjoys building rapport with customers. Success in this role requires strong follow-up, comfort working toward sales goals, and the initiative to create new opportunities through social media, Facebook Marketplace, referrals, and local networking.In addition to closing sales, this position is responsible for maintaining an organized and professional sales center, accurately tracking inventory, keeping product displays customer-ready, and ensuring every customer receives timely, helpful service throughout the sales process.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage professionally with customers in person, by phone, online, and through social media.Convert incoming leads and walk-in traffic into sales while consistently working toward monthly and annual sales goals.Build relationships with customers and generate referrals and repeat business.Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and available purchasing options clearly and confidently.Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective customers using the company CRM.Create and manage online product listings, including Facebook Marketplace and other social media channels.Identify local sales opportunities and develop new leads through networking and community outreach.Maintain accurate inventory records and promptly communicate inventory changes.Keep the office, sales lot, product displays, and sales materials clean, organized, and customer-ready.Address customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally.Support a positive, accountable, and results-focused team environment.QualificationsPrior retail, inside, outside, online, or other customer-facing sales experience required.Demonstrated ability to build rapport, follow up consistently, and close sales.Confident, enthusiastic, and professional communication skills.Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.Experience using a CRM or other customer-tracking system.Experience with online sales, social media marketing, or Facebook Marketplace strongly preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to inventory accuracy.Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.High school diploma or GED required.Experience with sheds, carports, HVAC systems, outdoor products, automotive sales, furniture sales, or another commission-based product environment is helpful but not required.Who Is RTO National?Please visit our website for additional information!https://www.rtonational.com/careersRTO National is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
