Job description

Property Maintenance company based in the DTC area is looking to hire a property maintenance technician ASAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance activities such as: carpentry; painting; minor electrical; minor plumbing; fence and gate repair; clean and repair gutters and downspouts; minor concrete; minor masonry; snow removal, etc., as well as property inspections & cleaning.
  • Review property and make suggestions for repair.
  • Problem solve and implement solutions on site to repair building and common area issues.
  • Complete paperwork daily and communicate with office regarding jobs.
  • Take photos of before and after work.
  • Clean and keep properly maintained all company tools, equipment, vehicles, etc.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Construction and/or property maintenance field experience.
  • Self-starter and able to work alone, and with team members.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Timeliness and punctuality.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Be able to operate iPhone/iPad with little to no instruction.
  • Be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email.
