Carpentry jobs involve constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Carpenters work on a variety of projects, such as building frameworks for houses, installing cabinetry, and creating custom woodwork. They use a range of tools and techniques to measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specific plans or blueprints. Carpentry jobs can be found in both residential and commercial construction, as well as in maintenance and remodeling projects.

To thrive as a Carpenter, you need strong knowledge of construction techniques, blueprint reading, and hands-on skills with woodwork, typically supported by a high school diploma and apprenticeship training.
