Carpenter (Construction & Restoration)

VersaPro Restoration is a well-established and growing General Contractor looking to hire a Skilled Carpenter. Ideal candidate is skilled, energetic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. We focus on residential and commercial construction projects that range in all sizes.

Offices Located in Livonia & Clinton Township, MI

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday with opportunity for overtime at a competitive wage and benefits.

Position Summary

The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work on residential and commercial properties. This role involves repairing, rebuilding, and installing structural and finish components following damage from water, fire, mold, and storm needs. The Carpenter works closely with project managers and estimators to deliver high-quality results on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • · Perform a variety of carpentry and related tasks as needed, including but not limited to: drywall installation and finishing, interior trim work, tile setting, cabinetry installation, siding, window and door installation, framing, flooring, painting, as well as light plumbing and electrical work.

    · This role emphasizes high-quality workmanship and timely project completion, contributing to the company's mission of helping clients recover from disasters

    · Perform carpentry duties effectively & efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of workmanship

    · Follow the scope of work for the project, communicate any issues/changes to the project manager

    · Produce quality work that consistently meets the company's standards and expectations

    · Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow the established safety rules

    · Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications

· Valid Driver's License/acceptable driving record

· At least 5 years of proven, on-the-job carpentry and repair experience

· Reside within a 30-mile radius of the Livonia, MI

· Strong working knowledge of carpentry principles, building materials and construction

· Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude

· Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment

· Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, and lifting
