Job Description

Job duties may include:ย 

  • Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects
  • Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out
  • Use lookahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix
  • Review drawings andย specifications to determine work requirements
  • Systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety- Add everything in green to drywall finisher foreman posting
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, coworkers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
  • Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation
  • Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently
  • Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Identify and resolve job site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentationย 
  • Train, mentor, and develop crew members, including apprentices and journeymen

Pay Range: $39.22 - $41.22/hr

Requirementsย 

  • Previous experience in interior commercial systems and exterior metal stud framing and sheathing installations is required.
  • Minimum 2ย years ofย experience as a Carpenter Foreman ย 
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
  • Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
  • Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Requirements

  • OSHA 30
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects is desirable.
  • Experience with exterior claddings project oversight is desirable.
  • Experience with interior acoustical and specialty ceiling systems is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Procore software is desirable.
