Position Summary: The Carpenter is expected to have a basic set of hand and power tools and possess a well-rounded skill set in both rough and finish carpentry. This role requires strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and a high level of craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is highly skilled across multiple aspects of construction and places equal importance on quality workmanship and productivity.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of paint systems and application methods
  • Perform rough framing and wall layout
  • Install trim packages with precision and attention to detail
  • Install doors and door hardware
  • Assist with the completion of punch list items
  • Direct laborers to support material handling and site needs
  • Follow all safety procedures in accordance with the Company's written safety program
  • Lead by example to maintain efficiency, productivity, and team accountability
  • Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and complete within assigned project scope
  • Perform other duties as assigned
