We're looking for a Chief Carpenter who brings advanced skills, strong field judgment, and pride in exceptional craftsmanship. You'll be a trusted craft leader, mentor others, and ensure every detail meets our standards.

What You'll Do

  • Perform advanced carpentry: framing high-end finish
  • Lead by example in craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism
  • Read blueprints, specs, and drawings with accuracy
  • Handle layout, framing, trim, cabinetry, millwork, doors, windows, and finish details
  • Coordinate daily work with Project Managers and trade partners
  • Mentor carpenters and apprentices on your projects
  • Solve field challenges while protecting quality and safety
  • Assist with material take-offs, ordering, and job site planning
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate clearly with clients, trades, and the GNB team

What You Need

  • 7+ years residential carpentry (remodeling + finish work required)
  • Advanced skills: framing, trim, cabinetry, millwork, doors, windows, stairs
  • Experience leading small crews or mentoring others
  • Strong plan reading and problem-solving -- works with minimal oversight
  • High attention to detail and pride in clean, precise work
  • Professional communication with clients and coworkers
  • Valid driver's license + reliable transportation
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
Salary & Benefits
  • Full-time, W-2 position
  • $85,000 - $105,000 per year (salary plus production incentive plan combined)
  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks to start; additional PTO after 2 years
  • Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving + Friday after, Christmas Day, and half-day Christmas Eve
