Our projects span Southern NH and Southern Maine, from the Lakes Region to the Seacoast.

Evergreen Construction Services is hiring motivated Carpenter Apprentices who are ready to learn, work hard, and build a future in the trades. No experience is required for the right person. This role is a great opportunity for someone dependable, energetic, coachable, and excited to develop hands-on carpentry and construction skills while working alongside experienced professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist carpenters and lead team members with daily construction tasks
  • Help with demolition, framing support, material handling, cleanup, and job site preparation
  • Learn basic carpentry, remodeling, restoration, and job site safety practices
  • Follow directions, ask good questions, and apply feedback from experienced team members
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
  • Help move materials, set up tools, and support the team wherever needed
  • Communicate respectfully with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors
  • Show up on time, stay focused, and bring a positive attitude every day

Qualifications

  • No construction experience required, but a strong desire to learn is required
  • Some carpentry, building, labor, or hands-on experience is a plus
