Job description

We are seeking experienced Shop Carpenters with a strong background in custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, exhibit construction, and finish carpentry. Candidates must be comfortable reading shop drawings, working with precision, and safely operating professional woodworking equipment.
  • Fabricate custom cabinets and architectural millwork.
  • Construct panel walls, booths, displays, and exhibits.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and cut lists.
  • Perform precise measuring, layout, cutting, fitting, and assembly.
  • Complete wood joinery, including dadoes, rabbets, biscuits, dowels, pocket screws, and glue-ups.
  • Apply laminate, edge banding, and other finish materials.
  • Sand, trim, and complete high-quality finish carpentry.
  • Install cabinet hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and specialty hardware.
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and proper fit.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Shop Carpenter, Cabinetmaker, Millworker, or Exhibit Fabricator.
  • Experience with custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.
  • Ability to accurately read blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists.
  • Strong precision-measuring and layout skills.
  • Knowledge of woodworking materials, hardware, adhesives, and joinery methods.
  • Ability to safely operate table saws, panel saws, miter saws, routers, drill presses, planers, and jointers.
  • Ability to lift materials and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
