As a Finish Carpenter, you will perform skilled finish carpentry work on commercial construction projects that require precision and dedication to detail. The Finish Carpenter’s role is to perform skilled work, including installation of interior trim and moldings, custom cabinetry, stairs and handrails, door & frame installation, window trim and stools, cabinetry installation, etc.

Responsibilities

·      Being reliable and punctual is essential, along with understanding time management and the ability to prioritize workload to meet schedules and deadlines.

·      Perform high-quality finish carpentry, including installing interior trim, crown molding, casing, window trim and stools, doors, frames and hardware, building and installing custom cabinetry, stair components and shelving, countertops and other architectural finish materials. Repair and replace finish carpentry elements as needed.

·      Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment including drills, saws, nail guns, table saw, planer, and joiner.

·      Ability to meet the physical requirements needed for the job, such as standing or walking for prolonged periods, lifting or carrying supplies, and working with your hands.

·      Adhere to safety and quality standards of The Alan Group’s procedures and OSHA, including PPE gear and jobsite safety, while representing The Alan Group professionally through your appearance, demeanor, and language.


Qualifications

·      Valid and clean driver’s license.

·      High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education is great, but it is not required. If you have specific machine training or certifications, please let us know.

·      5-7+ years of demonstrated finish carpentry experience, along with 2+ years in commercial construction.

·      Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

·      Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
