Job description

We are looking for capable and skilled carpenters to join our team. You’ll take direction from the Production manager to help construct and maintain strong and long-lasting builds. You are great at directions and have excellent hand dexterity, with a can-do attitude. Compensation:

$17 - $24 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Construct window and door frames, rafters, partitions, and stairways
  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and fix structures
  • Read blueprints and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
  • Install and repair fascia, soffit, trim, and exterior wood components
  • Install and repair vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood, and other siding systems
  • Perform framing repairs and structural carpentry as needed
  • Build and repair decks, stairs, railings, and porch structures
  • Complete miscellaneous roof repairs, including decking replacement, flashing repairs, and minor shingle work
  • Identify water intrusion, rot, and structural damage issues and recommend solutions
  • Read and follow work orders, measurements, scopes of work, and project plans
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other construction equipment
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, homeowners, and team members
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently and to the company's quality standards
  • Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Accurate measuring and math skills required
  • Excellent physical condition and dexterity
  • Minimum 2+ years of carpentry or exterior construction experience
  • Experience with fascia, soffit, siding, framing, and deck construction
  • Ability to perform roof repairs and exterior structural repairs
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in residential exterior restoration
  • Knowledge of roofing systems and flashing details
  • Experience operating brake machines, saws, and exterior siding equipment
