Job description

RQC, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Engineer (PE) to join our Field Operations team in Norfolk, Virginia. This position is based at an active military installation and offers an excellent opportunity to support complex commercial construction projects.
The Project Engineer plays a key role in assisting with all phases of project delivery, including planning, scheduling, coordination, administration, and project controls. Responsibilities span the entire project lifecycle, from initial development through final completion. Depending on project size and individual experience, additional project management duties may be assigned.
This position requires on-site project support. Local candidates are encouraged to apply; however, qualified candidates from outside the area will also be considered.
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 annually

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, and internet-based tools
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications (training provided if needed)

Preferred:
  • Experience with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit software
  • LEED Green Associate (GA) credential
  • Quality Control Management (QCM) certification
