Job Summary

Cargo Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for warehouse and storage facilities, loading and unloading air cargo, ensuring cargo related documentation is prepared timely and accurately, and regulatory requirements are adhered to and executed against appropriately.

The Supervisor is responsible for leading a team during a turnaround / in a specific area / on a specific task while ensuring compliance of safety, security and operational performance in line with policies and brand values.

The expected pay rate is $30.00/hour. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays. 

Your activities

  • Functional member of the operational team working on a shift-basis
  • Act as technical expert on the ground 
  • Coaching and coordinating the team assigned to the task
  • Perform any tasks particularly stipulated by SLAs as needing a senior member of staff (e.g., handling aircraft doors)
  • Responsible for accurate service capturing of operational activities relevant for invoicing and complete flight/task reports as per company procedure
  • Allocate tasks to team members during a turnaround in warehouse
  • Ensure compliance with all Operating Procedures (SOP, LOP), including Station Safety Rules and supervise Emergency Procedures during their shift in the area under their supervision
  • Supervise all Operations (as part of their purview); stand in for Duty Manager or equivalent as required
  • Provide team under their purview with work instructions during shift / during turnaround
  • Lead and train on-the-job as necessary for the employees working under their purview
  • Provide Duty Managers with feedback on employees to enable them to have constructive development / disciplinary conversations
  • Depending on severity, responsible to escalate any customer complaints received / observed to Duty Managers promptly
  • In small stations, assume responsibility for day-of allocation tasks on a rotating basis
  • Conduct QHSE related daily checks / inspections and accurately report into the systems

Your profile

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • 5 years' operational experience in ground handling, cargo, or aircraft fueling services
  • Excellent working knowledge of proper safety practices, procedural compliance and operations delivery
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to coach and motivate teams to deliver high quality standards
  • Ability to resolve problems with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, work relationships with teams and customers
