Job description

Description:

Who are We?

Trucker Path is a leading technology platform in the freight and logistics industry, trusted by over a million drivers and carriers for navigation, load planning, and operational efficiency tools. With deep insight into the commercial trucking ecosystem, Trucker Path continues to expand its offerings to better serve the evolving needs of its users.

Trucker Path Insurance (TPI) is the newest subsidiary of Trucker Path, created to provide innovative and accessible insurance products tailored specifically for truckers, fleets, and owner-operators. TPI aims to revolutionize how commercial drivers access insurance by streamlining processes, delivering value, and driving long-term customer relationships. As we rapidly grow our national footprint, we are building a world-class sales team focused on supporting the trucking industry with best-in-class insurance solutions.

Why Choose TPI?

The trucking industry moves the country, and the insurance needs of truckers are significant, specialized, and growing. TPI is positioned at the center of that market — with the technology, relationships, and team to become the most trusted name in trucking insurance nationally. You'd be joining at a meaningful moment in that growth.

If you have a foundation in sales, insurance, or a related field and you're looking for a specialized niche where you can build real expertise, real earning potential, and grow with a team that invests in your development — we'd like to talk.

What's the Job?

Trucker Path Insurance (TPI) is a fast-growing, specialized insurance agency serving one of the most in-demand and underserved markets in the country — America's truckers, owner-operators, and fleet trucking companies.

We're building a national sales team of motivated sales and insurance professionals who want to grow their career, develop deep expertise in a high-value niche, and maximize earnings. You don't need a trucking background to succeed here — you need strong fundamentals in sales, insurance, or a related field, and the drive to learn a specialized market. The right person for this job will be coachable, curious, and ready to build the skills to understand a client's risk exposure and deliver tailored commercial insurance solutions.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Commercial Insurance Producer will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and building TPI's reputation as a trusted partner for truck drivers across the country.

What Will You Do?

Learn the ins and outs of the trucking industry as you work directly with truckers and owner-operators to understand their business and match the risk with the right commercial insurance coverage. With the training and support to translate your existing sales or insurance skills into this niche, you'll manage a healthy mix of inbound leads and targeted outbound outreach, build lasting client relationships, and grow a personal book of business over time.

What does the day to day look like?

  • Consulting with prospects to identify coverage needs and gaps
  • Quoting and presenting solutions across commercial auto, cargo, occupational accident, and trucking liability
  • Managing your pipeline with focus and follow-through
  • Partnering with Sales Leadership to sharpen your approach and hit your goals
  • Staying current on market conditions, coverage changes, and industry requirements — with full support from our training team

What’s the work location?

You’ll be based out of our Phoenix, AZ office in the Warehouse District of Downtown Phoenix—a 17,000-square-foot space designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection. You’ll work in-office five days a week ensuring you have ongoing access to real-time collaboration and coaching as you continue to grow and deliver great work. Our standard office hours are weekdays from 9am - 5pm.

What's the Earning Potential?

We built our compensation to reward performance early and consistently — not just at year-end, but every month.

  • Base Salary: $56,000
  • Monthly Commission: Uncapped — paid on every dollar starting at Day 1
  • First-Year OTE potential: $95,000 – $125,000+ for strong performers
  • No ceiling. Ever. Your income grows as your book grows.

Nesting Period & Growth Ramp

We invest in your success from day one. All new producers begin with a structured onboarding and training program — designed to give you a thorough grounding in our products, systems, and the trucking industry while you're working your pipeline. You won't be thrown in cold. You'll be ready.

Requirements:

What are We Looking For? You don't need a trucking industry background to be successful in this role. What matters most:

  • Background in sales, insurance, or a related field or studies (minimum requirement)
  • Active P&C license or willingness to obtain
  • Bring a consultative approach — you listen, ask good questions, and match solutions to needs
  • Are coachable and motivated by continuous improvement
  • Confident and efficient navigating multiple databases, systems, and platforms simultaneously
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in insurance sales

Familiarity with commercial trucking, FMCSA requirements, or DOT filings is a plus — but not a requirement.
