OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The role of a Warehouse Agent includes all aspects of the warehouse operational activities listed below. To ensure service delivery and performance to our customers are of the highest standards in the industry.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operations - responsible for the operational performance of Pinnacle Logistics to maximize synergies, deliver the Pinnacle promise, and fulfill the Vision, Culture, and Mission.
  • Loading & Unloading of Cargo - (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material) on and off trucks & aircraft.
  • Transporting of Cargo - between Freighter and Passenger stands where required.
  • Physical Handling - of cargo warehousing and ramp activities, including receiving, dispatching, and staging airfreight, mail.
  • Operating Motorized Vehicles - related to the task from GPU's and tugs towing up to 80,000lbs. Cleaning of work areas, equipment, and facilities.
  • Training- learning and development with cross-optimizing best practices ensure that customer's - staff's objectives are met.
  • Customer Relations- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
  • Internal relations- ensure statutory the company, client policies, and SOP's adhere
  • Ensure all statutory and company policies are complied with, conduct, and assist with any investigation or claims brought to the business's attention.
  • Health, Safety & Security- ensure compliance with occupational health & safety and TSA legislation and company policy. Develop and maintain positive health, and safety culture focused on awareness and vigilance
  • Mandatory Overtime- During busy periods, Pinnacle may require employees to work extended hours. Overtime is considered a condition of employment, and refusal to accept it when reasonable notice has been given is cause for discipline, up to and including termination.

Miscellaneous Requirements

  • Safe and efficient Build up operations through direction, coordination, observation.
  • Ensure all duties performed by assigned personnel are completed in the most efficient and professional manner.
  • Ensure and verify security and integrity of all freight built.
  • Minimum 1 year experience on Cargo build up ( lower deck and main deck ).
  • Knowledge of cargo accepting procedures
  • Knowledge on security cargo built
  • Knowledge on dangerous goods handling
  • Knowledge on Ulds weights

Required Skills

  • Comply with all safety regulations, methods , and procedures required by Pinnacle Logistics , customers and airport .
  • Reports to work on a regular and timely basis .
  • Monitors all No call-No show and arriving after scheduled time and gives result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

  • Ability to work within a 24/7 operation, including holidays

  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • At least 18 years of age
