Role Purpose

The Ramp Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the unloading and loading of luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. The Ramp Supervisor will also drive and operate small specialized commercial vehicles. This position will require heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching.                       

What you will be doing:

  • Supervise lead agents; allocating ramp agent resources as needed
  • Move cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft
  • Ensure that ramp personnel adhere to established company safety regulations
  • Perform as a mentor to other employees and provide training to new employees
  • Some responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed for violations of company policy
  • Complete shift reports and sign timecards
  • Assist in the preparation of performance evaluation forms

    What we are looking for: 

    • Prior Ramp/Airline experience required 
    • Must be 18 years of age or older 
    • Possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record 
    • Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing 
    • Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively 
    • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions 
    • Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
