Job description

Our organization is in search of a Body Imaging Radiologist to provide locum coverage for a well-established program in Massachusetts. Here are some key details:

  • Focus on Body Imaging: The role will primarily involve body-imaging studies.
  • Rotation Flexibility: The ideal candidate should be comfortable rotating through any of the following four schedules, with the associated daily volumes for each rotation (day):
    • Chest Day: CT Chest only, handling 25-30 cases daily.
    • Ultrasound Day: Performing 50 procedures per day.
    • Body MRI Day: Conducting 5 MRIs, 4 fluoroscopic procedures, and 30-35 abdominal plain films.
    • Body CT Day: Managing 25-30 CT scans daily.
  • Work Schedule: Typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Work Week Flexibility: Open to considering a 3, 4, or 5-day work week.
  • Technology Utilization: Experience with Powerscribe 360 Dictation and Carestream PACS is preferred.
  • EMR Transition: The organization is transitioning to Epic EMR.
  • Availability Preference: Candidates who can commit to at least one week per month on an ongoing basis are preferred.
  • Training Background: Open to both fellowship-trained and non-fellowship-trained individuals, provided they are proficient in body MRI and CT studies.
