Job description

General Summary:
We are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our sales team who lives in the New England region in the northeastern United States (MA, ME, CT, NH, RI, & VT). This is an outstanding opportunity to excel in a career with a company that offers unlimited growth and earning potential if you possess capital equipment and solution sales experience in Dental or Healthcare markets and have a demonstrated track record of quota busting success. This individual will be responsible for Dental Sales with a focus on Digital Imaging Equipment and Practice Management Solutions Sales for all specialties in the Dental Marketplace. Base salary plus uncapped commission with accelerators for overachievement! Tremendous income potential with excellent benefits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Grow the territory and exceed sales quotas, while closely working with Management, Inside Sales teams, and channel partners.
  • Aggressively prospect and close new business in an assigned territory with a short sales cycle.
  • Develop deep understanding of software and equipment, and knowledge of all aspects of Carestream Dental solutions.
  • While "owning the customer", work in a team environment and properly utilize multiple company resources such as support and inside sales.
  • Maintain/retain customer base in assigned territory through regular office visits.
  • Regularly engage in marketing campaigns with in office visits/cold calling.
  • Prepare complex pricing quotes and negotiate the best outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain list of customer references in assigned territory.
  • Work trade shows, users meetings, and local dental meetings in assigned territory
  • Perform special duties as directed by management.

Key/Critical Competencies:
  • 5+ years of documented record of success in an outside sales role, delivering to and exceeding assigned quotas.
  • Experience with short sales cycles (30-60 days) and selling directly to the business owner/decision maker.
  • Ability to sell across a portfolio and understand all aspects of solution selling.
  • Must be a hunter with proven track record of closing new business 80% of the time, while successfully managing existing customer base.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of customers and distribution channel partners.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-starter, outgoing, upbeat and looking for a career not a job.
  • Ability to lift (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to travel, including overnight.

Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in direct sales in the dental/medical equipment/software industry.
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent related work experience (Dental technology a plus.)
  • Military experience considered.
