Job description

Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner in Western Tennessee!


Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Physician Assistant Opening


Role: Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA)

Practice setting: OR, hospital, and clinic

Team: Work with a cardiothoracic surgery group (3 experienced surgeons)

Facility: Large tertiary hospital


This is a Full Continuum of Care role with a primary focus of Operating Room


Core Responsibilities

First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries

Pre-op and post-op patient management

Rounding and inpatient care

Clinic responsibilities and follow-ups

Procedures (e.g., chest tubes, lines depending on scope)

This aligns with typical cardiothoracic PA dutiessupporting surgeons, managing perioperative care, and assisting in complex cardiac/thoracic cases.


Schedule & Structure

Mix of scheduled clinical hours + call


Requirements

Graduate of accredited PA program

NCCPA certification (PA-C)

Tennessee license (or eligible)

ACLS typically required

Cardiothoracic or surgical experience required
