Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Rad Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT-R (or RCIS) certification and at least 1 year of cardiovascular lab experience.

Details
  • Cardiology unit within a cardiovascular/cath lab setting
  • 13-week travel assignment on day shift
  • Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
  • Support both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Interventional Radiology department required
  • ARRT-R certification and license as required by state, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
  • License required if applicable
  • ARRT-CI, ARRT-VI, or RCI certification required
  • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire and must be maintained
  • ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required within 30 days of hire
  • Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
  • Proficient computer skills required
  • DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
  • Ensure procedure rooms are adequately prepared for scheduled cases
  • Monitor par levels of instruments and supplies
  • Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities
  • Support training of new staff members
  • Domestic Violence/Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required, completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or a similar approved resource
  • Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
