Job Overview

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience to provide locum coverage alongside attending Cardiothoracic Surgeons. This opportunity is ideal for a PA experienced in first assisting and vein harvesting who enjoys a mix of inpatient care, surgical assistance, and call coverage.

The provider will participate in patient rounding, perioperative management, and surgical procedures while working in a collaborative cardiothoracic surgery team.

Coverage Dates
  • September 14 October 12
  • October 23 November 9
  • November 20 December 7

Candidates able to cover most or all blocks are strongly preferred.

Schedule

Monday Friday

  • 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
  • Night Call: 4:00 PM 7:00 AM

Weekends

  • 24-Hour Call
