Job Summary and Qualifications
  • You will have 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas and will promote professional practice, and coordinate patient care activities in areas of administration, clinical, and human resources
  • This position requires an advanced level of management expertise as demonstrated through leadership, departmental functioning and educational preparation
  • You will plan and facilitate program development, fiscal planning and management of the services; direct and coordinate the activities of Cardiac and Neuro-diagnostic Services, to include Cardiac Cath Lab, Telemetry Monitoring, EKG, ECHO and EEG and OP Cardiology Services
  • You will establish departmental procedures within the framework established by the Hospital Administration and coordinate the needs established by the Medical Staff
What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelor degree in related field required
  • Active Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
  • Minimum of 5 years of cardiology supervisory/ management experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in adult echocardiography required
  • Must be self-motivated, forward thinking, with extensive knowledge of imaging services and hospital services
