Non-Invasive Cardiologist With Advanced Heart Failure Experience

A growing cardiovascular program in Richmond, VA is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist with Advanced Heart Failure experience for a locum to perm opportunity. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities, with the chance to transition into a long-term position with leadership involvement.

Position: Physician โ€“ Cardiology (Non-Invasive) Location: Richmond, VA Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient + Call

ASAP start โ€“ ongoing until permanent hire Full-scope cardiology role: clinic + inpatient + call Call ratio: 1:6 Work closely with Medical Director + growing care team Supervise 4 APCs (collaborative model) EPIC EMR system Locum-to-perm pathway with long-term growth potential Opportunity to be involved in future leadership/oversight (permanent role)

Currently 1 cardiologist in the group (expanding team) Strong APC support (4 providers) Average 10 clinic patients per day Average 12โ€“15 inpatient encounters per day Adult & geriatric patient population Focus on advanced heart failure and cardiovascular care

Provide non-invasive cardiology care across clinic and inpatient settings Perform and interpret EKGs and cardiac diagnostics Manage heart failure patients, including VAD-supported cases Participate in shared call rotation Collaborate with Medical Director and multidisciplinary team Supervise and support advanced practice clinicians (APCs) Ensure high-quality, patient-centered cardiac care
