• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient histories to assess health conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to identify health issues and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions, ensuring adherence to safety and efficacy standards.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team members, regularly evaluating their effectiveness.
• Educate and counsel patients and families about disease processes, medication regimens, and health promotion strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes, and initiate referrals when necessary.
• Provide consultation for conditions pertinent to cardiology and assist in procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Manage care in various healthcare settings beyond the primary clinic, such as inpatient services and emergency response.
• Be available for additional patient care duties as coverage needs arise.

You will primarily work with patients within the cardiology specialty, managing a range of heart-related conditions. This includes preventative care as well as acute and chronic disease management. Your engagement will greatly influence patient outcomes, contributing to their overall health journey and quality of life.

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• Active PA certification and state licensure.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a specialty focus preferred.
• Proficient in critical thinking, effective communication, and strong decision-making skills.

• Experience in a hospital or outpatient specialty setting, particularly in cardiology.
• Demonstrated ability in patient education and health management.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for managing patient documentation.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
