CADD Tech


Cardinal Civil Resources is currently looking for an employee with high integrity and an excellent attention to detail in order to fill a position as a CADD Tech.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Ideal candidate would serve as a Survey CADD Operator & possess a superior skill set that includes:

  • Perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey computer programs and IntelliCAD
  • Daily CADD production to complete Boundary, Topographic, House Location Surveys. In addition, drafting of Grading Plans, Easement Plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys etc.
  • Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (Primary)
  • GIS (Secondary)
  • Attention to detail and self-motivated with the ability to think critically
  • Performs mathematical calculations and checking of field data
  • Reads and understands plans and specifications
  • Know basic sources of measurement errors
  • Basic understanding of geometry and grading
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Education and/or Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • A high school education or equivalent is required including a background in math, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Previous experience working in Civil Engineering environment
  • Knowledge of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD is required
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills
  • Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential requirements
  • Valid driver's license with insurable record
  • Background Check and Drug Testing Required
