• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and emotional needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and client interviews.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific client goals, adjusting strategies as required based on client progress.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, offering individual therapy, family counseling, and group therapy sessions designed to foster healing and personal growth.
• Closely monitor and document client progress, applying appropriate adjustments to treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Offer timely crisis intervention and supportive counseling to clients facing urgent mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and immediate needs are met.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines set forth by regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to create an integrated care approach for your clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health treatment and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions and training opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Cardinal Behavioral Health Center, you will work primarily with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship issues. You will utilize your expertise to provide tailored support and guidance, ensuring that every client feels heard, understood, and empowered to navigate their mental wellness journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related discipline.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities, with a solid foundation in various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster effective therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Genuine empathy and compassion for client well-being, with a strong desire to assist others in overcoming their mental health challenges.
• Ability to function autonomously while also displaying a collaborative spirit within a team setting.
• Knowledge of applicable ethical guidelines and mental health laws governing practice.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in a counseling or therapeutic role, preferably in a community health setting.
