Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Surgical Stepdown
Location: Tulsa, OK
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: Premium Weekend Days (7: 00 AM - 7: 00 PM)
Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts (Friday- Sunday or Saturday- Monday)
Starting Pay: From $33.15/hour (based on experience)

We' re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a specialized Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about caring for post-operative cardiac patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working a premium weekend schedule.
You' ll provide exceptional patient care while partnering with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patients through recovery after cardiac surgery.
What You' ll Do
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
  • Monitor post-operative cardiac surgery patients and respond quickly to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families regarding recovery, medications, and discharge planning.
  • Support patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
Required
  • Active Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact Multi-State RN License.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent Registered Nurse experience.
  • Strong cardiac assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule
  • Premium Weekend Schedule
  • Day Shift: 7: 00 AM - 7: 00 PM
  • Three 12-hour shifts each week:
    • Friday, Saturday, Sunday or
    • Saturday, Sunday, Monday
