Job description

RN – ICU (Contract) – 13 Weeks

Location: California 95240
Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/week
Schedule: Day Shift, 3x12s (36–48 hours/week)
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Note: Auto Offer | Cardiac experience required


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Provide ICU nursing care using the nursing process

  • Monitor, assess, and manage critically ill patients (cardiac focus)

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams

  • Administer treatments and educate patients/families

  • Delegate tasks and support unit operations


Requirements

Education & Experience

  • BSN (Preferred)

  • Acute care experience (Preferred)

  • Cardiac ICU experience (Required)

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active California RN license (Required)

  • BLS/CPR certification (Required)


Unit Details
  • Unit: ICU (10 beds)

  • Ratios: 2:1

  • Charting System: Cerner

  • Medication System: Pyxis

  • Call: Not required

  • Float: To MS/Tele and assist in ED

  • Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts in a 6-week period

  • Scheduling: Self-scheduling

  • Support Services:

    • Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, Unit Secretary: 24/7

    • Intensivist: 12-hour coverage

    • Hospitalist: 24/7
