Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Telemetry Unit! This 40-bed unit provides specialized care for patients with a variety of cardiovascular and medical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, including heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, chest pain, acute coronary syndrome, and post-cardiac procedures. Nurses on this unit develop expertise in cardiac rhythm interpretation, patient assessment, medication management, and interdisciplinary collaboration while delivering exceptional patient-centered care. What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on a fast-paced Cardiac Telemetry unit.
  • Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry changes while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Assess patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and support patients recovering from cardiac-related illnesses and procedures.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions to support successful recovery.
