Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Cath Lab experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.
Job Details
• Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites,
• Unit staffed by a team of 9,
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM,
• Pre/post procedural area follows a variable 0700-1700 schedule,
• Patient ratio of 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area,
• Utilizes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment,
• Charts in Meditech EMR,
• Performs procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests,
• On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per week,
• Weekend rotation approximately every third weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday),
Job Requirements
• Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) currently in hand,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS,
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience required,
• Holding experience preferred,
• Monitoring experience preferred,
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,
