Locum Tenens CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) – Woonsocket, RI

Locum Tenens CRNA in Woonsocket, Rhode Island — experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist needed for general anesthesia coverage on June 15-19 and June 22-26, 2026. Join a collaborative MD/CRNA team; Epic experience preferred.

Deliver high-quality anesthesia care across general, OB, orthopedic, cardiac, urology, gynecology, podiatry, and endoscopy cases in a supportive Rhode Island hospital. This locum tenens anesthesia job offers a consistent schedule, primary call rotation, and an opportunity to work with a four-provider anesthesia group in a four-OR setting.

Job Details – Locum Tenens Anesthesia (Woonsocket, RI)
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: 7,920 – 8,350 (locum tenens CRNA pay)
  • Shifts per Week: 5
  • Shift Duration: 8-hour days (7:00am – 3:00pm)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Rotation: 3 days on / 1 day off
  • Call Schedule: Primary call every 3rd weeknight and 4th weekend (3:00pm – 7:00am); 30-minute response time required

CRNA Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate CRNA experience delivering general anesthesia and regional techniques

  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA issued)
  • Documented case logs for epidurals, spinals, and regional blocks
  • Clear background and malpractice history (standard credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days; temporary privileging available)
Responsibilities – Anesthesia Services
  • Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for general surgery, endoscopy, OB (approx. 450 deliveries/year), orthopedics (including spine), urology, gynecology, podiatry, and cardiac cases (cath lab and TEE volume ~380/year)
  • Perform spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks; maintain accurate procedure and case logs
  • Participate in an MD/CRNA collaborative practice model and coordinate perioperative care with surgical teams
  • Supervise and support anesthesia care when needed and assist with department workflows
  • Respond to call assignments within 30 minutes as scheduled and document all interventions in Epic
