The Cardiac Rehabilitation Supervisor will lead within a heart recovery program synonymous with a comprehensive Cardiac Rehab Unit-think a modern cardiac rehabilitation center and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation service offering monitored exercise training, risk-factor modification, education, and lifestyle coaching across inpatient transition and outpatient phases-designed for a hands-on, relationship-centered approach that thrives in a rural, community feel setting while serving a diverse cardiac population across the continuum of care.
As a Cardiac Rehab Leader, the role typically reports to a Director of Cardiovascular Services or Nursing leadership while partnering closely with a physician Medical Director, benefiting from supportive preceptors, seasoned charge nurses, and an engaged multidisciplinary team of RNs, exercise physiologists, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and case management; the Cardiac Rehabilitation Supervisor will guide daily operations, scheduling, staff development, evidence-based protocols, safety and quality metrics, EHR optimization, referral growth, community education, and performance improvement aligned with national cardiac rehab standards-within a collegial environment known for friendly nurses, inclusive teamwork, and strong autonomy balanced with readily available specialty consults.
