Registered Nurse - Cardiac Operating Room

Hartford

Our Open Heart program is one of the largest in the northeast. We average 3-5 open heart surgeries per day with 5 surgeons. Come join a growing organization with the latest technology and a state-of-the-art Operating Room!

Our 17 rooms include 3 open heart, a thoracic CVOR, 2 robot rooms, 2 orthoorauma and 2 vascular. All other specialities are rotated throughout the other rooms. We also have a Hybrid OR and will be starting TAVR cases.

Other exciting initiatives underway:

Weekly staff meetings and In-services

Active Unit Practice Council that has membership from both Main and CV ORs

Relationship Based Care Model

Structured orientation coordinated by the Nurse Educator complete with scheduled meetings to facilitate learning

We are currently on the EPIC journey.

Full time and part time positions are available, 1st and 2nd shift. We are offering a sign on bonus to experienced cardiac nurses.
