Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Clinical Specialist to provide application training and clinical support for advanced imaging systems used in
Cardiac Catheterization Labs and Interventional Radiology departments. This is a home-based position requiring extensive travel throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience training healthcare professionals on imaging systems and clinical workflows.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Training & Education
- Deliver basic to intermediate application training at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Assess and document user competency following completion of training.
- Develop and enhance clinical education materials, protocols, and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for clinical education programs.
- Provide guidance based on adult learning principles to maximize user adoption.
Clinical & Technical Support
- Provide application support and assist customers in resolving clinical workflow issues.
- Escalate critical technical or application issues to the appropriate support teams.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding training progress and issue resolution.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as needed.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete training documentation, reports, and required administrative tasks promptly.
- Maintain company-issued equipment and assets.
- Support operational and business objectives within the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab or Interventional Radiology, OR
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Clinical Applications or Field Clinical Specialist role.
- Experience supporting or training users on advanced cardiovascular imaging systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with intravascular imaging systems is a plus.
Required Certifications (Must Have)Candidates must possess one of the following active credentials:
- Registered Technologist (RT) ARRT
- One or more of the following advanced certifications:
- CV Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
- CI Cardiac Interventional Radiography
- VI Vascular Interventional Radiography
- OR
- CCI Certification:
- RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- RCES Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong presentation, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot clinical workflow and application issues independently.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 90%, including overnight travel).
