Fauquier Health's  ICU is home to Critical Care trained physicians, making us a unique community hospital that provides 24/7 critical care intensivist coverage. Our ICU provides the services our community needs close to home.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 7 days of hire
  • ACLS, NIHSS required within 30 days of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
