Job Description:
The Registered Nurse Cath Lab will provide specialized care for patients undergoing catheterization procedures, utilizing their expertise in cardiac interventional procedures and patient management.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage groin and radial band sites, assist with sheath removal and site management.
  • Administer moderate sedation, titrate drips, and handle emergency drugs.
  • Recognize rhythm changes and respond effectively using emergency equipment.
  • Transport patients to the recovery area and provide post-procedure care.
Requirements:
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience with STEMI/NSTEMI, LHC/RHC, CHF, Angina, ACS, Afib, IABP/Impella, CTOs, staged/protected PCI, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacers.
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR, XPER Hemodynamic Monitoring System, and VascBand management.
  • Ability to respond to vent alarms and manage sedation effectively.
