WHO YOU ARE

We are currently looking for a Payroll Technician to join our team. The Payroll Technician will be responsible for the administration of day-to-day people data and documents, and will provide technical and administrative support on confidential data and information.

Reporting to the Director of Payroll, the Payroll Technician's main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Auditing and approving all employement-related forms (termination, leave of absence, position and compensation)
  • Supporting Employee Shared Services with day-to-day inquires (ex. letters of employment, reference checks and internal file checks)
  • Entering and managing Distribution Centre punch cards into the payroll system bi-weekly
  • Assisting with paystub and gift card distribution
  • Filing confidential information pertaining to employee files
  • Providing year-end support of T4 distribution
  • Assisting with filing CSST claims and reimbursements
  • Following up on new hire information

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • College diploma or higher in a related field of study
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communications skills in English and French
