Description
SIMOS is building a team of Forklift Order Pickers in Columbus! Earn $21-$23/hr + $1.00/hr Peak pay ($22-$24/hr total during Peak). Weekly pay, benefits, PTO, and more. No prior forklift experience required- we are looking for motivated, reliable individuals who are ready to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidates.
This role uses a Raymond Cherry Picker forklift. A preference will be given to experienced drivers, and a forklift assessment will be completed prior to starting.
We have 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts available. Limited positions remain on 1st shift. Flexibility is a must.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate a Stock/Order Picker throughout duration of shift
  • Load and unload cartons/packages in an efficient and safe manner, recording all necessary paperwork
  • Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
  • Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed
  • Utilize RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System

  • High School diploma or GED
  • A forklift assessment will be completed prior to starting for experienced drivers.
  • Certification and experience operating forklift equipment is required (Order Picker)
  • Familiarity with RF scan gun and computer inquiries/and data entry
  • Able to read and count accurately and follow verbal and written directions
  • Able to perform repetitive motions and lift 50 lbs. continuously
  • Able to work overtime as needed with little or no advance notice
